HC: Time and Oblivion Chap: 3It began to rain, first just a small drizzle, then grew into a steady shower. The disease on the forest was still spreading, though it was a slow crawl. Soon, in the future, the entire forest would be sucked of all it's life, and the Kokiri would also be gone.

When the twins emerged from the forest path, Mido wasn't there. They took the opportunity to leave without making a scene. They walked through the village. Now they realized that no one was outside.

Lily caught a glimpse of a few Kokiri looking out from one of the houses.
